Public Health Consultants (PHC) in Action is a company owned by 9 senior consultants. The group mainly works in the areas of public health, social welfare and community development. The professional backgrounds of the consultants are medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, social science, anthropology and paramedical sciences. All consultants have a postgraduate degree in public health or management.
The consultants are working in the Netherlands, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. PHC is unique in the sense that it operates both in the Netherlands and abroad. The consultants match national and international experiences and study how lessons learned in the Netherlands can be used abroad (and the other way around). This international exchange adds value to the work and often leads to innovative solutions.
Public Health Consultants in Action Ltd. is a continuation of Interaction in Health (IAH) Ltd. which was founded in 1987. Public Health Consultants in Action Ltd. is fully registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam.
